A human hero

The dog was hanging from the tree branch, he was barking, and crying. Stephanie and I were really scared, but we didn’t know how to help, we could just shout, asking for help, and wait. But Gary was sliding off, and it was going to fall. Suddenly a guy appeared running. He was perfect, just perfect. He was big, tall and he was wearing a yellow sweatshirt and jeans. His big green eyes were stunning and his brown hair seemed soft and clean. He reminds me of Tom Weeling, the charming actor who interprets Superman in the TV show, Smallville. I felt in love, like a princess in a fairytale, I felt like he was my prince, but then I remember that my dog was about to fall. Stephanie was crying, and I, as her big sister, had to promise her that everything was going to be OK. The stranger introduced himself: John was his name, beautiful name, just as him. He told us to relax because he was going to rescue our little animal. He picked a white rope, large enough to tie it to the tree and climb to the branch. There, he saved Gary and got back down. My sister was so happy! She stopped crying and went to hug John and the dog. I stood there, even if I was dying to do the same as her. John gave Gary to Stephanie, and came to ask me to let him know if it ever happens again, because he loves helping animals, he’s a hero!
